The drama of ice and fire and the appeal of the volcanic the abundance of Iceland fascinates me.
One of the local crafts with which this small country abounds is knitting. The Icelandic jumper called ‘Lopapeysur’, with it’s patterns of simple organic shapes yet with a style that lends a geometric feel to the garment, has recently become a part of my inspiration for the Break the Pattern Collections.
